What to know before you make a booking

Our school tours take place in the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin.

They are for students in Transition Year or above and they are designed for groups of students only. Tours can not be booked for individuals.

The groups can not have more than 24 students and must have two teachers with them. The group will be split into two when attending court proceedings, with one teacher per group. No more than 12 students (with accompanying teacher) may be present in any court gallery.

What you and your students can expect:

  • A legal professional will guide your group.
  • You will be brought to a courtroom to take part in a mock trial.
  • Your tour guide can advise what courtrooms and cases might be suitable for your group.
  • If possible, your groups will attend at a court hearing.
