- Don’t eat, drink, or chew gum
Speaking in court
- The judge or registrar will tell you when to speak
- Raise your hand if you’re unsure or need to say something
- If you're giving evidence, you'll be asked to swear an oath or promise to tell the truth
If you’re unsure
- The judge or court registrar will guide you on where to sit and what to do
- You can ask for a break if needed — just raise it politely with the judge
